UNDERSTAND YOUR CONCERN

Melasma

  1. 01UV / visible light / hormones
  2. 02Melanocyte activation
  3. 03Symmetric pigmentation

Why it happens · mechanisms

Melasma is chronic pigmentation with increased melanocyte activity, often forming symmetric facial patches. Light, hormones and genetic susceptibility contribute; ordinary spot-removal approaches are not automatically suitable.

How care is selected

Use light protection, including visible-light considerations, and clinician-directed topical treatment. Laser use needs careful adjunctive assessment because recurrence, worsening and mottled lightening can occur.

Course price per session = total contract price ÷ number of sessions. It is not a pay-as-you-go price or a monthly instalment. First-visit trials are for new clinic patients only. The doctor determines suitability, number of sessions and intervals. All displayed prices exclude consumption tax, which is charged separately. Tax-exclusive conversions and per-visit equivalents are rounded to the nearest yen.
